Dubai, 06 June 2016 – Bourn Hall International has appointed Amin Neghabat as its Chief Executive Officer to lead expansion of company’s clinics in Dubai and India in response to fast-growing demand for IVF fertility services. Lead-investor TVM Capital Healthcare Partners brought the IVF concept of Bourn Hall International to the MENA and India in 2010, now providing the highest quality in fertility service through its clinics in Dubai, Gurgaon and Kochi. Bourn Hall International is affiliated to Bourn Hall, established in the United Kingdom in 1980 by the Nobel award-winning pioneer of IVF Professor Robert Edwards, and Dr. Patrick Steptoe.
Amin Neghabat (46) brings extensive experience of managing leading fertility clinics in the United States. He worked for several years in senior positions at IntegraMed America, the largest U.S. fertility practice company, and was Senior Vice President at Sound Physicians, one of the largest hospital physician groups in the United States. Most recently, Amin Neghabat, as a Regional Partner bought and built-out a chain of serviced dental clinics.
“Bourn Hall International, as the pioneer in IVF, is the most valued global brand in the area of fertility services,” Neghabat said. “According to several recent industry reports, the MENA and India regions present huge opportunities in the IVF space driven by high and growing demand and limited supply of quality IVF clinics provided. It is an honour for me to be joining a firm with strong ethics, and high-quality provision that helps families find happiness in such a fundamental way.”
Bourn Hall International’s operations in India and in Dubai have been nurtured by specialist private equity firm TVM Capital Healthcare Partners. The firm invests across several emerging markets, identifying unmet healthcare needs and collaborating closely with government agencies to introduce specialist services to complement public provision of healthcare.
Youssef Haidar, Chairman of the Board of Bourn Hall International and Partner and Managing Director of TVM Capital Healthcare Partners, said the firm plans to expand Bourn Hall International’s operations to other countries in the Middle East, North Africa and within India. “Bourn Hall Clinics in India and Dubai have become centers of excellence in the area of IVF, and we intend to replicate this model in other key emerging markets,” Haidar said. “Amin Neghabat is a leader in this field, with strong specialist expertise and an excellent track record of operating high quality clinics.”Ends –
