I sincerely hope this message finds you well!

As the COVID-19 pandemic is spreading and affecting more and more countries and with that the daily life and well being of people around the world, we suddenly realize how much we share communities across the globe and how much unrestricted travel and personal meeting options have determined our way of doing business. This has now fundamentally changed, and we expect this situation to persist for several weeks or months.

At TVM Capital Healthcare we have been busy working in the last couple of weeks with our company management teams to get everyone ready to face the COVID-19 outbreak. Our companies are part of the healthcare sector and expected to face substantial challenges, depending on requirements of regulators, payors and public health systems, who currently handle acute care, to help manage increasing numbers of coronavirus patients.

I am very impressed how fast and thorough our company leaders have established the necessary policies to protect our patients, their families and our staff from infection. This obviously is priority number one.

Our teams in Singapore and Dubai have put the necessary measures in place to make sure that we can keep operating, providing uninterrupted interactions with our portfolio companies, business partners and investors. We have severely limited our travel activity and personal presence in the office and are also reducing the number of personal meetings to an absolute minimum, following the advice of public health experts on social distancing. Sanitizing and cleaning efforts in our offices have been scaled up accordingly. Currently we are all working remotely and are available and approachable by phone, mail, and video anytime. We will continue to operate almost normally, simply using means of virtual communication utilizing our existing IT infrastructure.

We sincerely hope that we will all be able to go back to normalcy very soon. In the meantime, we look forward to continuing our work to improve private healthcare provision in the communities we serve.

Stay safe and healthy and take care!
