Trad is an accomplished Chartered Accountant from South Africa, bringing extensive experience and a proven track record in financial management and private equity. He completed his Honours degree in Commerce at the University of Johannesburg, majoring in Tax, Audit, Accounting, and Financial Management.

Beginning his career at Deloitte, Trad spent four years in the Financial Services team, where he played a pivotal role in auditing some of the largest private equity, bank and insurance companies in South Africa. His exemplary performance and keen financial insight led to him being headhunted by one of his clients to lead their legacy private equity division.

Following this successful tenure, Trad joined a startup private equity firm with a portfolio size of $500 million, where he contributed significantly over a span of two years. For the past three years, he has been based in the UAE, serving as the Chief Financial Officer for a prominent fixed income asset manager and capital markets business. His international experience and expertise in managing complex financial operations have been invaluable in this role.
