In his sixteen years with Tenet Healthcare (formerly NME), Mr. Schroeder opened and operated hospitals in the Middle East, New Orleans and California including the USC University Hospital in Los Angeles. In his seventeen years at Bumrungrad Hospital in Thailand, he led the team to transform a modest private hospital in Bangkok Thailand to become the largest private medical center in Asia with over 100 facilities in eight countries and a market capitalization of US$ 1 billion.
Mr. Schroeder is widely considered a pioneer of “medical travel” and is a leading industry expert and spokesman on global medical care appearing prominently in the world media including CBS 60 Minutes, ABC World Report, BBC, Newsweek, Time Magazine, the Economist and many others.
Mr. Schroeder is known for his ability to bring creativity and innovation to complex situations and his capacity to operate effectively in diverse cultural environments bringing a style that employs good humor, strong ethics and a sense of fair play. He has a personal interest in strategic positioning of healthcare businesses and in the design of highly customer-focused systems and facilities. He is the Founder of Law Asia, the first international law firm headquartered in Singapore, owned by Singaporeans, with associated offices across Asia and Europe. Prior to that, for 30+ years he was with major international firms in Europe and America. He was the first Singaporean to become a Partner at a major international law firm in London, was Asian Managing Partner of a leading British law firm and a Senior Partner Asia at Latham & Watkins (one of the world’s top law firms). He is a Singapore nominated member of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, Lausanne and was a member of the Professional Affairs Committee of the Singapore Academy of Law. He has sat as independent director on the Asian Boards of CEPSA (a Spanish MNC), Plexus Group (UK-listed), international shipping groups and as senior legal advisor to Konecranes (OMX-listed), Fortum (OMX-listed) and Inmobi (Indian mobile advertiser). He is the Chairman of the Global Resilient Cities Network Singapore, a Commitment to Defence Ambassador of Singapore, immediate Past President of the Singapore Oxford and Cambridge Society and Hon. Legal Advisor to the Securities Investors Association of Singapore ( SIAS).
Paul was the Wright Rogers Law Scholar of Cambridge University, Master of Moots ( Cambridge University) , a past President of the Singapore UK Association, a former Vice-President of the British Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and was on the International Council of the Yong Yoo Lin School of Medicine. He is a member of the India Business Roundtable and a former member of the Singapore British Business Council. Paul served as a senior officer in the Singapore Armed Forces and has been conferred various honors/ medals by Singapore, Malaysia, the United States of America and the United Kingdom. He is a Knight of the Order of the Crown of Pahang.
David Storto is a seasoned executive with more than 40 years of experience and major achievements in health care. He served as the President and long-time leader of the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network and Continuing Care Division of Mass General Brigham (formerly Partners HealthCare), where he developed and led two inpatient rehabilitation hospitals with 28 outpatient sites, two long-term acute care hospitals, two skilled nursing facilities and one of the largest home care organizations in Massachusetts. David also served as a member of Partners’ senior management groups during his tenure and worked with the system’s acute hospital and physician leaders to integrate care across the full continuum.
Amongst his many distinguished achievements, David secured the funding and presided over the planning, design and construction of the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in the Charlestown Navy Yard that opened in April 2013. Under his leadership, Spaulding has consistently been listed by US News & World Report as a top rehabilitation hospital, ranking as the #2 and #3 hospital in the nation for the past several years. Spaulding is the internationally recognized home to Harvard Medical School’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and its residency program has been ranked one of the best in the country.
More recently, David has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Tufts Medicine (formerly Wellforce), anchored by Tufts Medical Center and including community hospitals, and home care organization and the Tufts Medicine Integrated Network of more than 2,000 physicians. David led the integration of the strategic planning, business development, market and communications and government relations functions across Tufts and the rebrand of the system from Wellforce to Tufts Medicine. He also led the development of several affiliations with other hospitals and a joint venture with Acadia Health to build a Behavioral Health Facility in Malden, MA.
David is also a leader in the broader health care community. He served on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Hospital Association (MHA), the Regional Policy Board of the American Hospital Association (AHA) and the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association (AMRPA). He served as a member AHA’s Post-Acute Care Strategy Steering Committee, Chaired MHA’s Post-Acute Care Council and was the Vice Chair of AMRPA’s Board and Chair of AMRPA’s Finance Committee.

Faisal Asiri has over 15 years of clinical and teaching experience in rehabilitation services in both governmental and private sectors. He earned his Ph.D from the University of Pittsburgh, USA in 2013 with a concentration in neurological Rehabilitation. He holds the highest training certification in the management of adults with stroke and brain injury (NDT/Bobath). During his graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh and Gentiva Health (Currently known as Kindred Healthcare), Dr. Asiri had extensive experience in the field of rehabilitation and home health care services from the largest post-acute care provider in the USA.
Asiri worked as a National Leader in one of the Ministry of Health strategies related to post-acute care services in Saudi Arabia (including Rehabilitation, LTC, and HHC), which was conducted by the Vision Realization Office (VRO) in collaboration with the consulting firm Oliver Wyman. He served as a Healthcare Advisor in governmental and academic institutions, and a Member of the Saudi Health Council since 2017 (HHC Committee). Dr. Asiri is interested in making Rehabilitation services accessible for individuals in Saudi Arabia with dignity, and better quality of life for individuals in need.
Along with his clinical experiences, Dr. Asiri worked previously as the vice dean for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and had the opportunity to develop the University’s Business Incubator for a startup business, and was involved in selecting Endowment University’s initiatives.
Hamad M. AlDhewalia commands more than 45 years of leadership experience in healthcare in Saudi Arabia and the U.S. He holds a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Arizona, USA and a B.S. Pharmacy Science from King Saud University. He is the former Vice Minister of Health Affairs in Saudi, former General Manager of Medical Services at Saudi Aramco, and the Founder and Member of several Non-Profit Organizations, such as the Saudi Food Bank (Eta’am).
From 2010 to 2015 Hamad M. AlDhewalia held various CEO positions in medical institutions such as Al-Ahsa Hospital, Al Ahsa, King Abdullah Medical Complex, Jeddah, and the Medical Village, Riyadh (under construction).
Hui Hsing Ma has worked with the international TVM Capital network since 2004 in East Asia. She brings over 15 years of healthcare investment and advisory experience, starting in 2000 as Senior Vice President, at the Temasek VC firm, Vertex Ventures, where she co-led their US$80 million healthcare investments in US and European companies and funds.
Prior to 2000, Hui Hsing has over 14 years of global corporate finance and general management experience, primarily with BNP Paribas, General Electric (USA) and Morgan Grenfell. She holds a MSc in Biotechnology from the Johns Hopkins University, USA, a MBA from Manchester Business School, UK and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore.
