Over a career spanning 50+ years, the former CEO of Joslin Diabetes Center, John L. Brooks III, has led international teams focused on healthcare private equity investment.
He was a founding General Partner of Prism Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital investment firm for nine years, the founder of Insulet, and he is the Managing Director of Healthcare Capital, which advises disruptive life science companies.
Brooks currently serves as Chairman of the Board for a number of highly-regarded healthcare organizations including Senscio, the Care Continuity Company™ and the builder of an Intelligent Care Continuity System™ for clinically complex populations, Sernova, a T1D diabetes cell therapy company and Alertgy a non-invasive biomarker Dx company. He is also a board Member of Sharp Therapeutics, Inc, a biotechnology company specializing in rare diseases, and basys.ai, the leading AI company for prior authorizations, amongst others.
