Walt Ling is a Senior Advisor to TVM Capital Healthcare and an accomplished healthcare executive with more than 30 years of international leadership experience in medical devices, diagnostics, laboratory services, and healthcare technology across Asia-Pacific and the United States.
He was most recently Chief Executive Officer of ACT Genomics, a Taiwan-based cancer genomics diagnostics company, where he led global strategy, operations, and commercial activities. Previously, he served as Managing Director, Asia-Pacific at Oxford Immunotec (acquired by PerkinElmer), where he was responsible for all regional commercial operations. He also held senior regional leadership roles at Leica Biosystems (a Danaher company), Teleflex, and Hill-Rom, with full responsibility for business strategy and operations across Asia-Pacific markets.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Ling held international business development and commercial leadership roles at Cardinal Health and Baxter Healthcare, and began his career in sales and marketing within the medical products industry.
Mr. Ling holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
